Warner Brothers Comic-Con 2011 San Diego, CA
Promote the new Warner Brother’s video game, “Lord of the Rings: War in the North” in a unique way at one of the most recognized annual conferences, while the same time, directing attendees to a large-scale event Warner Brothers was putting on just blocks from the convention center.
Researching the San Diego area and various hotels where attendees stay, Show Media offered complimentary shuttling to guests staying at Best Western Plus Hacienda and The Dana at Mission Bay. Both hotels were sold out that weekend with an estimated 78% of guests staying with them for the conference. During their ride to the convention center, passengers viewed trailers of the upcoming game. Upon exiting, riders were informed about the “Experience Darkness” event that was taking place that Saturday evening just outside the convention center.
120 rides were given out and more than 1,000 people took advantage of the service. With the vans driving around the convention center, the game was exposed to more than 100,000 attendees throughout the weekend.Back to Campaigns
